    Do you know a high school student who excels not only academically, but musically as well? If so, now is the time to apply to become a 2006 All-USA High School Musician. Students who demonstrate exceptional music skills and academic achievement, as well as exemplary leadership in their school and community, are eligible. Maximum Award: $5,000. Deadline: February 1, 2006.

    GRANT OPPORTUNITY: NEA Fine Arts Grants – The National Education Association Foundation offers NEA Fine Arts grants to NEA members to elementary (grades K-6) school art specialists. Awarded through local NEA affiliates, the grants allow fine arts educators to create and implement programs that promote learning among students at risk of school failure. Deadline: February 1, 2006.
