The gift of music and art in a child's life is invaluable. Music and arts education improves overall student learning, instills self-esteem and discipline, and provides creative outlets for self expression. We need to support music and arts education to give our children the opportunity to do something positive and creative with their time. In doing so, we are telling America's youth that we believe in them and their potential.
