Welcome, MusicFriends!
MusicFriends is a group of parents, community members, and other music advocates working to support local school music programs through grassroots initiatives. We're sponsored by MENC: The National Association for Music Education, an organization of more than 142,000 music educators, music students, and school music advocates. Founded in 1907, MENC's mission is to advance music education by encouraging the study and making of music by all. Through MusicFriends, MENC raises awareness about the importance of music education in schools and communities across the nation.
